Our classroom has a "Bump it Up" board which helps us to see how our work can be improved. Even in Grade One we try to prepare our students to know that the final product of an assignment should meet certain criteria so it may be deemed as good, very good or excellent. It is helpful to the students to know the criteria and then to see concrete examples as to how those criteria were met. Here is an example showing how a task can progress in quality.
